The horrid, early morning, bumpy train handwriting says: "No signal!? That can only mean one thing: Digital Has Come! D-DAY!" I just heard that the date to stop transmitting TV through the airways may be delayed because they have received a gazillion voucher requests for the converter box. Well, 'magine that! Did they think people would just up and BUY cable, or install a satellite dish, and PAY MONEY for TV? I think there is a conspiracy here somewhere. Comcast, DishNetwork, Panasonic and Public Broadcasting are all in ca-hoots, I tell ya!
I can't wait for D-Day, because then I can stop hearing news stories about all the dithering. Not watching TV means we don't have to give a hoot about the transition otherwise.
